The sun is always shining in this latest addition to the Moto X3M dirt bike games. If you've enjoyed previous versions of the game that the crazy developers over at Madpuffers have brought us, including Moto X3M Winter and Spooky Land, you'll love the summer theme, complete sun-kissed beaches, water flumes, underwater pipes and a few extra surprises for good measure. If you're new to the game, you've a whole world of two-wheeled adventure ahead of you.
Game controls
The X3M series of motorcycle games gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your supreme sense of balance and timing. You'll need to be at one with your machine to make it past some of the devilish challenges that lie in wait in what is one of the most popular driving games around.
Even if you're new to motorcycle games, you will find the bike intuitively simple to control. On PC, everything is controlled by the arrow keys. Use up to accelerate and down to brake or even reverse. The left and right arrows raise the front or rear wheel. The mobile version of the game instead uses four buttons on the screen. With just a little practice, you will soon be riding like a pro, and even if you play the game in both mobile and desktop formats, it couldn't be easier to switch your mind and fingers between the two.
What's the challenge?
In Moto X3M 5 Pool Party, you and your trusty bike will face 22 challenges, each more difficult than the last. From the start, you are thrown in at the deep end (pun very much intended), with high-velocity projectiles coming straight at you from the get-go. While the game looks simple, you will soon be drawn in, as getting to the final checkpoint demands a blend of arcade skill and strategic thinking that would give devotees of Angry Birds or Lemmings plenty to think about. Be prepared to lie awake at night asking yourself how to pass Level 9 on Moto X3M Pool Party! As any real-world biker will tell you, a generous helping of luck also comes in very handy.
Completing a level is one thing, but there is also a time aspect involved. Up to three stars are yours for the taking depending on how quickly you can reach the final checkpoint of each level. Also, you can always go back and try to beat your own record in order to max out the stars. Those stars will come in handy if you want to improve the look of your bike. Use them to upgrade and give your set of wheels a custom look that is all your own. If you really can't wait, upgrades are available to purchase, too.
